"The 2015 Supercross Series was really our first legitimate series as Premium MotoSpodes" says Brandon Houldsworth, Team Owner of Premium MotoSpodes. "Of course we took a shot of the 2014 Amateur Outdoors series last year, but we started several rounds in. We jumped from Suzuki's in outdoors last year, to KTM's during the long offseason before 2015 supercross. Now we are on Honda's, the bike I started on. Coming back to it was bitter sweet, but I think we as a team made a good choice making the move to the bike" stated Houldsworth.

Premium MotoSpodes kicked off the season slowly, with Tanner Rogers being the only rider on the team to take a shot in the early rounds. Rogers put a lot of effort into his racing program and we are glad he was able to make the night shows. "Tanner (Rogers) was the only rider on thebteam to score points in the pro supercross series, even though it was a mere two points, it was finally something that was achieved" Houldsworth says. When T. Rogers wasn't lining up for the pro series, he made his debut in the amateur supercross series a few rounds later and he finally hit his stride. He would finish in sixth places in the amateur standing with 140 points.

Throughout the latter half of the series, we saw the return of Ben Surry, a long term friend of OG Spodes Brandon Houldsworth, Ed Kozak, and Tanner Rogers. Surry took a shot at the Amateur Supercross season and did not go without fault. He was able to finish 78th in the over standing with a total of nine points.

Once the East Coast swing came around, we lost our rider Ryan Wynn to another team. Although it was a let down as he burned the bridge of the team, we hope he finds himself on another team to help support him in MX Simulator. Three more riders landed on the Premium MotoSpodes radar and found themselves on the team. Chandler Rogers an old friend of Brandon Houldsworth as well as Tanner Rogers was the first of the three riders to find himself on the team due to T. Rogers being consistent on his efforts to put him on the team. C. Rogers would find himself in 81st place in the amateur standing with a total of eight points and he even gave pro supercross a shot, but falling short in those efforts. Taylor Wasden who is a ex-team mate and long term friend of Tanner Rogers found himself on the team. Although never finding himself in the position to score points, he is a personality the Premium MotoSpodes enjoy. Connor Lynds, a viewer of the Premium MotoSpodes content since the early days, would be offered a place on the team. Lynds was in the center of a controversial debate when he appeared in the amateur series. Playing for only a few months, he is able to compete at a very high level finding himself ninth in the amateur series with a total of 97 points. "Connor (Lynds) definitely found himself on the right path as a developing rider. I quickly tried to get him on the team, he's a good lad and I feel as if I made a good choice. His results are one thing to be proud of, but he is an even better friend to have in the rig" stated Houldsworth.

The OGest of the OG Spodes, Team Owner Brandon Houldsworth and Team Co-Owner Ed Kozak, found themselves trying to compete in the amateur supercross series. Co-Owner Kozak, coming off an amateur debut in 2014 outdoors where he was able to score points, would end up 51st in the amateur supercross standing with 20 points. "Ed (Kozak) is one of my closest friends, if not the closest friend; he is my bestfriend. Without him, I don't think we would be here, competing for points and getting ready for 2015 outdoors. It's funny to think that without him, there wouldn't be a team called Premium MotoSpodes. His results on track were pretty good and I hope he is happy with what he has accomplished in supercross this year" explained Team Owner Houldsworth. The Spodest Spode of them all Brandon Houldsworth was coming off of a season where he was unable to score points in 2014 amateur outdoors, but was able to take the 2014 blh Invitational Championship. Houldsworth found himself finally scoring points as he finished 99th in this years amateur supercross series scoring five points. "I am happy with my results. I came into the year finally getting more than 1fps and I was finally able to score some points. I wouldn't say last year was awful though, hell, I was able to win a championship as well as represent CanaJerp at Spodes of Nations with my bestfriend. It hasn't been an easy trip to get here though. Before 2015 supercross, I thought about hanging it up and retiring from competition, I just wasn't having fun. Yea, I don't exactly plan of retiring just yet, but it's always a lingering thought. I'm not just a racer, which impacts how much time I have to get ready and line up for racing. I am a team owner and I want to be able to prepare my team for races with whatever I can provide. I wouldn't say owning the team is easy, there are times when I wanted to retire the whole team, but I dug a little deeper and kept trying. Then, of course, I finally started blh Designs, my own company that I've always wanted to start up. I finally got some orders and I'm happy knowing that I'm helping someone with what they need to line up and race each weekend, whether that's a custom bike or some gear. The Spode Nation isn't dying down, we have more riders and more support than ever, I can't wait to see what the future holds" says Houldsworth.

So long 2015 supercross, and hello to 2015 motocross! See you out on the track!
